This is a design about Albert Camus. Albert Camus is a famous French writer. Philosophically, Camus's views contributed to the rise of the philosophy known as absurdism. Based on the curiosity of Camus's life background, I conducted a lot of design research to understand the background story of Camus's works and show it through Typographic narrative.

In my design, I no longer used the visual language of nothingness that people usually use to define Camus. On the contrary, I found that Camus's external appearance and his internal heart had a lot of contradictions. I tried to show him through color and conflict images.

 Pain is life

Camus suffered from tuberculosis, but he still maintained a passionate attitude towards life. This design revolves around this contrast in personality.

Collision

Camus was a man who found balance in conflict, and he pursued it all his life. This design expresses the conflict/balance he strove for in his work.

Perfect balance

Camus tried to stabilize a sense of balance, but this balance is fragile.

Happiness

When critics commented on Camus's article, they thought he was expressing happiness in a pessimistic way.
